Pumpkin Patch 2016

Every Fall we drive to the local church down the street for our yearly  pumpkin patch pictures.  We have come to love this little church and the tradition it has become in our family.  The church sells pumpkins as a way to raise money for their youth group.  This year the money is going to the youth group’s ski trip to Colorado. woot woot

The last two years Penelope hasn’t been old enough to really know what was going on, but this year she was!  She took it upon herself to rearrange every.single.pumpkin in that patch  (and tried to use her “big muscles” for every pumpkin she couldn’t lift… the grunting was priceless).

The pumpkin patch was beautiful, and for a moment Texas felt {and looked} like fall.  But, then I started sweating again and I remembered I was still standing in 95 degree heat.
